Concept
Why does everything happen so slowly here? Because it has to stop. When everyone talks about Economy accelerators, Productivity accelerators, profit accelerators in companies, CASA LENTA appears to do the opposite. Slow down. Rest. Savor. Appreciate. Because there are things that can only be seen, or felt, when we stop.
Traveling is not just moving from one country to another, from one house to another. Traveling is letting oneself be carried away by the essence of the places, it is rethinking priorities, it is resting physically and psychologically, it is having time to gain control of one's own life.
This house appears shortly after an entire planet has stopped due to a virus, but it appears during a war between two countries, but which affects the whole world. What can we learn from this chaos? We learn that our body breaks down, our soul gets tired and we need to find a space to do things with another time.
A SLOW HOUSE is the need to survive and find ourselves. It is also a space for families to meet, because they often live in the same house and don't even look each other in the eye, either because of lack of harmony or lack of time.
In this house, there is the possibility of looking at the sky and the sea, of looking into each other's eyes and feeling the beat of each one's heart. This is a house that inspires, that slows down, that forces us to stop doing what we don't need to and where we discover a new rhythm.
Here, a clock has the same 24 hours as in the rest of the world, but here, we ensure that a minute continues to have the same 60 seconds, but what fits inside is much more. There is room for nothingness: doing nothing.

Concept
There is a house that has stopped in time. Or is it time that has stopped inside this
house?
Why does everything happen so slowly here? Because stopping is necessary. When everyone is talking about accelerating the economy, accelerating productivity, accelerating company profits, CASA LENTA (SLOW HOUSE) comes along to do the exact opposite. Slow down. Rest. Savor. Appreciate. Because some things can only be seen, or felt, when we stop.
Traveling is not just moving from one country to another, from one house to another. Traveling is to let yourself be carried away by the essence of these places, to rethink your priorities, to rest physically and psychologically, to take the time to gain control over your own life.
This house emerges shortly after an entire planet came to a standstill because of a
virus, but it also emerges during a war between two countries that affects the entire world. What did we learn from this chaos? We learned that our body breaks down, our soul gets tired, and we need to find the space to do things with a different sort of time.
CASA LENTA is the need to survive and to find ourselves. It’s also a space for families tocome together because so often they live in the same house and don't even look each other in the eye, either because they are not in synch or because they don’t have the time.
In this house there is the possibility to stare at the sky and at the sea, to stare into each others eyes and feel each others heartbeat. This is a house that inspires, that slows down, that forces us to stop doing what we don´t need to do, and where we discover a new rhythm.
Here, a clock has the same 24 hours as in the rest of the world. Here, we make sure
that a minute is still composed of the same 60 seconds, but what fits inside them is so much more. Space for nothingness: for doing absolutely nothing.

"Slowly…
Yes, slowly...
I want to think about what this slowly means...
Perhaps the outside world is in too much of a hurry.
Perhaps the common soul wants to arrive earlier.
Maybe the impression of the moments is too close...
Maybe that's all...
But what worries me is this word slowly…
What has to be slow?
Maybe it's the universe…”, Álvaro de Campos
